Woodside Lodge on Loch Goil

My brother & his wife got married here in Oct 2018 in the Tree House. The location was beautiful, the lodge was nice, comfy and cosy with so much character, Alice and the team were absolutely lovely, we had an amazing weekend with family & friends! Upon return home I realised I lost/misplaced my golden necklace and was returned to me in no time free of charge, excellent service. Great memories, thank you guys for everything!

The Lodge is breathtaking and full of history and charm, the surroundings exquisite in all its beauty. We were married in the Tree House at the lodge and Alice and her team were quite simply amazing, we felt like we'd 'come home'. Words are not enough.........you simply need to experience and feel the wonder of this truly exceptional place.

I attended a wedding here last week and it's one of the most amazing places I've ever visited. Alice and her team leave you wanting for nothing and treat you like totals. The other lady who was working on the day, I didn't catch her name, is one of the most well mannered, pleasant people I could ever meet. Really welcoming feel about the staff and the house itself and the views from it and the treehouse are superb. I hope to visit again one day. Anyone considering a wedding here should just go for it!

Words cannot describe this venue, it is perfect in every way, it was exclusive, intimate, remote and was exactly what jay and I wanted. I feel any words we say would never convey how magical it was. Then there are the staff....Alice and her team are exceptional, taking care of every last detail but it is so much more than that .....they go above and beyond and then some....they make you feel like part of the family and nothing is too much bother. Our day would not have gone as well as it did if had not been for Alice and the team. I would urge anyone considering this venue to do it. It is as close to perfection as you could imagine. You won’t be disappointed and like us you will fall in love with it and the staff. We had the most magical day and we will never forget it, we will never forget how welcome we were made to feel and we truly can’t wait to come back for our anniversary next year. thank you again.

Axel and I wed on the 13th October 2018. Due to non stop rain a few days before there was a landslide blocking the A83 which meant guests and vendors had to take a longer route via ferry to the venue. Naturally as the bride I was worried, but Alice had everything under control and made sure all the suppliers knew how to get there in time and she told us in detail how to advise our guests. In the end, family, friends and vendors all made it! Thank you so much Alice and your team, Axel and I couldn't have wished for a more perfect day, rain and all. All our friends and family kept on telling us how amazing the location, the service and the food was. We will definitely see you again next year for our anniversary!! Lots of love,

My husband Andrew and I got married here the 10th of July, it was absolutely stunning. The view, the treehouse, the staff, and Alice is a wonderful Wedding Planner, she is amazing !!! She is a lifesaver !!! I am searching for 12 ☆ but unfortunately I can only give 5 stars.

My husband and I married at The Lodge last month and I simply cannot say enough good things about it. Alice was at the end of the phone for any questions or advice we needed in the run up to the big day. We married in the treehouse which was incredible....a breathtaking location. The food was exquisite, the service impeccable, and the staff outstanding from start to finish. As we were having a small wedding we were keen to choose a location which was unusual and special but also relaxed and welcoming. The Lodge ticks all those boxes...and then some! Our guests were amazed by it and we would encourage anyone considering booking the Lodge for something special to go for it. Not only will it surpass your expectations but it will leave you and your guests with a lifelong happy memory. Thank you Alice and Ian and all the staff.

My wife and I were married at the Lodge on Saturday and had the most fantastic weekend of our lives. We had high expectations after visiting last year to view the venue, those expectations were exceeded on every level. The staff, food, grounds and rooms are all first class, nothing was too much trouble for Alice and her team, and we were made to feel very welcome. Everything about our wedding was well planned and ran very smoothly. Even the damp weather during our wedding ceremony on the terrace could not spoil the beautiful setting. Thank you to Alice, Iain, Isabel, Kristina, Luke and the other staff for helping to make our weekend so memorable.
