A unique venue, this barn is an industrial blank canvas to make your own – white walls and steel beams, corrugated ceiling, pendant lights… chic design for the modern couple.

From the top of the scaffolding tower you can hang just about anything – from banners to floral clouds, glitter balls and giant pompoms! Working with highly recommended, local suppliers, couples are free to style the barn to suit them. With creative and practical assistance from Event Manager, Beth, the ‘blankness’ does not need to be intimidating! As well as Beth’s help, you also get time. The Barn at Avington is not a conveyor belt of celebrations, instead offering each couple a full week to create, relax and party.

The eco build cottages next the The Barn, sleeping up to 12, offer the perfect ‘home from home’, with a few extra touches to make your stay special. Our favourite little luxury is the ‘Dutch tub’ – a log burning hot tub which is perfect after a day of wedding set up.

Whether the accommodation is used for the bridal party or relatives young and old, the cottages have the facilities to fulfil every need (including a fully accessible bathroom for those with limited mobility). In addition to the cottages, ‘The Glade’ provides a luxury glamping hideaway, guaranteed to stun anyone that visits. Open the curtains the morning after your wedding to watch the sunrise and deer stroll, then cook your delicious breakfast of local produce on the roaring open fire – simply idyllic.
