Heading over to Italy for the beautiful wedding of Christina and Alan who said ‘I do’ at the stunning Borgo Stomennano. Their day was captured by Roses&Reeds where Natalie has shared the story of their wedding.

Christina and Alan first met while studying abroad in Spain. They met only a few days into their semester, felt instantly connected and soon began dating. Their love for adventure drew them towards each other.

Borgo Stomennano Wedding

When it came to choosing a place to marry, they instantly thought of Italy. Alan and Christina first visited Italy in 2018, and fell in love with the land for the food, the wine and the vibrant life.

After sharing with their wedding planners at VB Events their love of Tuscany, Borgo Stomenanno was immediately brought to mind. Borgo Stomenanno truly magnifies the Tuscany touches, with the venue views overlooking the rolling hills, the garden allowing for an intimate reception setting and marbled columns lining the villa- it was perfect. Not to mention the entry way to the property! The towering trees hugging the road to the entrance welcomed each visitor with a bit of magic.

Mid morning, Christina readied in the upper room with her mothers and sisters. Meanwhile, VB Events readied the guests’ table with milk white and rose pink candles, which was weaved through the garden. TheĀ  ceremony space was centered in front of the esplanade of trees; florals used to accent the gateway.

Christina and Alan spoke their vows with witness of their closest friends and family. Their primary wish for their day was to make sure their family and siblings were included in a special and meaningful way. Christina’s sister, Nicole, shared of their love while she officiated their ceremony.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres while photos of Christina and Alan were taken in the sunset gleam. Following dinner, memories were shared with drinks and laughs. Then, the chef of Borgo Stomenanno prepared an Italian cake with sparks flying behind.

The party kicked off with an interactive performance by The Emotional Singers and the night was danced away.
