If you’re after a truly unique and exclusive venue like no other, then look no further than Elmore Court…
Elmore Court is a stunning 750-year-old Grade II* listed country house that’s been in the same family since 1274. The historic house, over the centuries, was built to entertain and has recently been entirely refurbished along with the addition of a stunning sustainably built sound proofed event space called ‘the Gillyflower’ made from rammed earth and materials gathered from the land. Positioned in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside with stunning views over the Cotswolds and River Severn, the house retains much of its original character with contemporary features throughout.
The Hall is the largest of 4 reception rooms in the house; a beautifully grand room that provides an ideal location for your ceremony for up to 200 guests (150 seated).
The remaining reception rooms are also all licensed for civil ceremonies and provide relaxing areas for your drinks reception and anything else you might have planned. This is all in addition to the classic English country gardens that are yours as well.
There are 16 en-suite bedrooms including The Master Suite, which comes complete with its own dressing room – perfect for those final bridal preparations. The latest addition to Elmore Court is the re-designed Coach House which has been created primarily so that a small party of guests can come and stay on site the night before an event and therefore wake up on site. It is a separate building on the west side of the house with it’s own driveway so it doesn’t impinge on the exclusivity of any ongoing event. With two double bedrooms and a sitting room with a double sofa-bed combined with a simple kitchen setup. This will enable up to 6 people to come and stay the night before, enjoy some relaxing spa treatments and wake up on site to start getting ready before moving over to the main house at Midday to continue on into your exclusive day hire of Elmore Court.
