Elmore Court

Elmore Court gives me the same feelings that Disneyland did as a child.. pure happiness and excitement. It genuinely feels magical to me, and I will treasure the time we spent there.

We looked at the website (virtual tour, hello awesome), looked at each other and thought this is looking good. Then we drove into the gates and the deal was done!! Elmore ticked every box we had thought of, and ones we hadn’t. The romantics in us couldn’t get enough of the classic yet modern grandeur of the main house, whilst our dance music party loving selves fell for the music system, lighting and the indescribable atmosphere of the Gillyflower. Having the space for 40 of our closest friends and family stay plus flexibility around supplying our own alcohol and external caterers for the evening was the icing on the cake.

Every contact we had with Elmore from the outset was faultless, Team E are true professionals and somehow blend being super organised and efficient with a laid back flexible vibe. We always felt we could ask questions or for tweaks, and the answer to our requests every single time was YES! In particular I have to mention our wonderful wedding coordinator Katrina. Not only did she help us with Elmore specific issues, she was a great guide in navigating the whole wedding process and took so many things off our plates to deal with herself. We really felt she cared about our wedding and us as individuals, and it was an absolute joy to have her there on our big day.

I am usually a total control freak and imagined on the day itself I would be checking the time and thinking right what should be happening next. I didn’t do this once – I totally relaxed and left everything up to Team E without even really thinking about it. The food (wow, the food), the drinks, the service, the organisation was all absolutely 5 star. As the bride I felt like a princess; someone was there to take my veil the second I reached to take it off, or to hand me a glass of champagne in a gap between photos. Even as the night stretched into the afterparty and the very late early hours, the Elmore staff were relaxed and accommodating to all our guests.

The rooms speak for themselves and all our guests were raving about the beautiful décor and comfy beds. The breakfast the next day was wonderful, and the opportunity for the extra time with our guests priceless. Many of our guests told us that our wedding was the best they had ever been to, and the biggest part of that was everything provided by Elmore Court. Not biased but we have to agree, and we feel pretty smug saying we got married there!!
