Elisa and Matteo embraced the Italian dream for a wedding of sophisticated glamour despite this summer’s uncertainty and incognita of the Covid lockdown.

Chic romanticism and rustic details created a celebration of unique charm, a day the couple will clearly never forget.

Romantic Wedding at Villa Il Cerretino

It was in fact the couples trusted catering company, L’Oste Gentiluomo who found their ideal wedding space with the simple requirements of being able to accommodate 120 guests during covid restrictions.

In the heart of Florence the artistically designed Villa Il Cerretino won their hearts and proved to be the perfect masterpiece in their alfresco celebrations.

Elisa, a classical ballet dancer, started her preparations at Villa Il Cerretino, in the beautiful master bedroom designed in the 70s by Mario Ceroli and met her beloved Matteo at Chiesa di Santa Maria della Pietà in Prato for their catholic marriage.

In the late afternoon the welcome aperitif was set in the upper garden of Villa Il Cerretino, Giardino del Pozzo, ready to pamper the guests with tasty corners of Italian deli and bubbles of Prosecco and Aperol Spritz. The wedding dinner was set in Giardino Belvedere, with a breathtaking view over Florence and the Tuscan countryside.

The fireworks surprised the newlyweds and their guests right on the cut of the cake and when the party started, Elisa, with a change of dress, and her closest friends improvised a dance in Giardino del Pozzo where everyone continued the celebrations, dancing and partying into the night.
