Roos & Gianni’s Wedding at Le Stonghe
With Gianni’s grandmother originally from Rimini and countless family summers spent in Le Marche, Italy has always felt like home to them both. So, surrounded by rolling hills, warm sunshine and 100 of their closest family and friends, the couple celebrated a spectacular destination wedding at the breathtaking Le Stonghe.
From a relaxed pizza night under the stars to a candlelit celebration around the fountain of the palazzo, every detail reflected Italian elegance with a personal touch.
A Relaxed Pizza Night Welcome Party
The celebrations began the evening before the wedding with a laid-back pizza night in the courtyard of the palazzo. Guests embraced the playful dress code, wear a headpiece which immediately set the tone for a weekend filled with personality, warmth and fun.
The atmosphere was intimate and relaxed, with touching speeches, live music and endless laughter echoing through the courtyard. At the heart of the evening was Pizzaiolo Francesco, serving freshly made pizzas straight from the venue’s centuries-old stone oven. As the sun began to set over the Italian countryside, Roos and Gianni made a big entrance down the grand staircase, officially kicking off the celebrations in style.
A Morning of Sunshine and Slow Italian Living
The wedding day itself started with the kind of beauty that destination weddings in Italy are famous for. Guests spent the morning enjoying breakfast together, lounging by the pool and soaking up the warm summer sunshine. A feeling of everyone fully immersed in the experience, enjoying long lunches and precious time together before the ceremony.
A Stunning Ceremony Overlooking the Hills of Le Marche
Set against the rolling hills of Le Marche, Roos and Gianni exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony framed by oversized floral arrangements that perfectly complemented the natural scenery.
Roos wore a true statement gown, bringing modern elegance to the romantic Italian setting, while all the male wedding party embraced a sophisticated black-tie dress code.
A big statement floral piece in the fountain, the true heart of the palazzo was created with overflowing blooms, it created an incredible focal point and a real wow factor.
Italian Aperitivo and Show-Stopping Dining Experiences
Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the intimate courtyard for aperitivo. Long tables filled with Italian delicacies, local flavours and beautifully styled buffet displays created a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone could mingle and celebrate together.
The evening dinner brought another unforgettable moment, the very first live show cooking experience ever hosted at Le Stonghe. Chef Luigi prepared authentic pasta carbonara in front of the guests, creating both dinner and entertainment in one incredible experience.
One of the most iconic moments of the evening was a joyful photograph of the bride enjoying the freshly made carbonara, perfectly capturing the spirit of the celebration.
Dancing Beneath the Italian Sky
As night fell, the celebrations continued with a spectacular millefoglie wedding cake show cooking experience, bringing even more theatre and excitement to the evening.
Guests danced around the fountain beneath the stars late into the night, surrounded by candlelight, music and the magic of a warm Italian summer evening.
Roos and Gianni’s wedding at Le Stonghe was a true celebration of family, heritage and the joy of bringing people together in one of Italy’s most beautiful regions.
