We share the wedding of Leah & Brad at the picturesque Georgian-style country house, Eaves Hall captured by award-winning wedding photographer, Mick Cookson Photography.

Lancashire wedding of pure elegance

Nestled at the heart of Lancashire’s Ribble Valley, Leah & Brad chose the grandeur of Eaves Hall to exchange vows and we can certainly understand why. From the moment you reach the driveway you are invited with the exquisite architecture of the house itself and then there’s the pristine gardens, a wonder in themselves.

Wedding photographer Mick Cookson gives us his account of their incredible day;

Eaves Hall Wedding

“I loved being part of Leah & Brad’s wedding day at Eaves Hall. The weather was stunning, and I was working at one of my favourite wedding venues. But more importantly, I was working with Leah and Brad – a couple who never stopped laughing and smiling all day.

I’d been recommended by previous wedding clients (who were also guests on the day) to the couple, and after a face to face meeting in a hotel, we knew we were right for each other. I was so looking forward to this wedding, as I knew what to expect – a ten hour ‘shift’ with amazing people, and simply not feeling I was working at all….the day was awesome!”

“The guests too, were brilliant fun – the bridesmaids were a law unto themselves, and very funny! They looked after Leah brilliantly and I got my fair share of ‘stick’ from them as the day progressed. Thanks ladies! The weather meant that the whole wedding day could be outside, except for the meal and the speeches. I was also the first photographer to shoot the first dance outside the front of Eaves Hall on the new gravel. I simply love that image of Leah and Brad laughing as they danced away to Alistair from DFC Lancashire. A brilliant day guys, and thanks for having me on board”
