Set within a private Mediterranean estate in Tarragona, Laura and Andrew’s wedding was vibrant, stylish and full of personality. It was a day designed around the people they love most: colourful florals, exceptional food, dancing and thoughtful touches that encouraged guests to settle in, let go, and savour every second.

Catalonian Villa Real Wedding

One of the joys of Masia Colina is the way it encourages a wedding to move naturally from one setting to the next.

Surrounded by gardens and hidden among stone courtyards and terraces, the estate offers the intimacy of a private home, while still delivering the scale and atmosphere needed for a destination celebration. Despite its peaceful surroundings, Tarragona’s beaches, Roman history and vibrant culinary scene sit close by, giving guests the chance to turn a wedding into a memorable Mediterranean escape.

For Laura and Andrew, it was exactly the setting they had imagined: welcoming, elegant and filled with warmth.

The morning began inside the authentic masia, where the couple prepared for the day ahead surrounded by their closest family and friends. There was an unmistakable sense of anticipation, balanced by the comfort of being in a place that instantly put everyone at ease.

Vows beneath the trees

The ceremony took place on the estate’s beautiful Ceremony Terrace beneath a canopy of trees.

A circular floral arch framed the moment, dressed in joyful blooms that brought bursts of colour to the Mediterranean landscape. Adding an unexpected touch of charm was a pink velvet sofa for the newlyweds, softening the setting and reflecting the couple’s playful approach to design.

A celebration in motion

Following the ceremony, cocktails flowed through the stone courtyard in front of the masia, where conversations lingered and glasses were raised beneath the Spanish sunshine.

Dinner awaited beneath elegant stretch tents, where long tables dressed with abundant florals created an inviting setting for guests eager to celebrate. The atmosphere was lively and infectious. Friends reunited, and the energy around the tables only grew as the evening unfolded.

It’s one of Masia Colina’s greatest strengths. With several distinct spaces across the estate, each chapter of the day carries its own atmosphere while remaining beautifully connected.

When the Party started

As night fell, celebrations moved into Green Vita, where the mood shifted from elegant dinner party to fun-filled dance floor.

There were wheelbarrows filled with ice-cold beers, a buffet of jamón ibérico, and music that kept everyone on their feet late into the night.

And then came one final surprise.

A late-night McDonald’s delivery.

Because even the most stylish weddings can have a sense of humour, and few things unite a dance floor quite like a box of fries after hours of celebrating.

The essence of Colina

Reflecting on the day, Venue Director Marc shared:

“Laura & Andrew’s wedding was a beautiful example of the type of celebration Masia Colina is made for: elegant, personal, relaxed and full of atmosphere.

The day flowed naturally through different spaces of the estate, allowing each moment to have its own setting and feeling while remaining connected within the same private venue. From the warmth of the Mediterranean surroundings to the carefully designed floral details, the gastronomic proposal by Moon Catering and the natural rhythm of the celebration, everything came together in a very authentic way.

For us, it was a wedding that captured the essence of Colina: a private estate in Tarragona where couples can create a celebration with freedom, personality and a strong sense of place.”

A wedding filled with joy

Laura and Andrew’s wedding wasn’t defined by a single detail, but by how it made people feel.

It was colourful without being overdone. Refined without feeling formal. Stylish yet completely relaxed.

A day where guests could wander through gardens, gather around beautifully dressed tables, dance beneath the lights and finish the night sharing burgers and stories with the people they love most.

The very best destination weddings create an atmosphere people never want to leave.

This was undoubtedly one of them.
