Pure House Ibiza Real Wedding

Premier wedding planners Ruth Alexander offers an insight into the couples bespoke celebrations…

Kirsty and Theo chose Pure House Ibiza as the backdrop for their big day, from our selection of the island’s most sought-after settings. A 19th Century Finca that has been lovingly restored to the high standards of a luxury hotel, this Ibiza wedding venue is just five minutes from the centre yet feels utterly secluded and tranquil.

Surrounded by olive groves and palm trees, the location boasts a 23-metre swimming pool, an expansive sunbathing terrace, exotic gardens and effortlessly cool chill out areas.

Kirsty and Theo wanted to create a stylish, intimate and relaxed Mediterranean wedding vibe. From the very early stages of the planning journey, we envisioned crisp linens, bright sunshine and plush greenery, thoughtfully leading into a dusky Ibizan night.

This gorgeous duo opted for a green and white colour scheme with blush notes and gold accents – the ultimate boho-luxe and a fabulous fit for Pure House Ibiza.

Flowers Ibiza provided exquisite floral design, focusing on tea-stained blush roses and pampas grass with greenery. We used the greenery from surrounding vistas of olive tree clippings to adorn plates, with eucalyptus running through the bridal bouquet.

Styling by Velvet Circus was centred around the use of light and how we could use this to create atmospheric differences in each part of the day.

We also wanted ‘light’ to be the lead component that tied their wedding day together, with floating glass lanterns in the swimming pool alongside flower heads, as well as a candlelit dinner set under a canopy of fairy lights and the starry night’s sky as the only roof needed.

Their outdoor wedding ceremony was graced with glorious blue skies, statement florals and dried grass for the aisle. It provided the perfect setting to say, ‘I Do’.

An understated, all-white two-tier wedding cake was paired with a sprig of pampas grass, adding to the light and airy feel of Kirsty and Theo’s Ibiza wedding.

Velvet Circus tied twine ribbon and a handful of foliage around white linen napkins on gilded charger plates, with a chic seating plan directing guests to one long trestle table to tuck into a feast created by Zest Ibiza.

All of this was to be savoured, experienced and remembered by Kirsty, Theo, their friends and family. Particularly after nearly two years of disruptions and postponements, it made the occasion even more joyous to celebrate and come together.
