Jill & Tom’s wedding at Château Saint-Martory on 7th September 2025, was set deep within 40 hectares of tranquil woodland in the Garonne River valley, where the château feels almost suspended between forest, river, and the distant rise of the Pyrenees. With its 16th-century architecture and surrounding 19th-century farm buildings, the estate offered a graphic backdrop for a multi-day celebration shaped by ease, elegance, and atmosphere.

The ceremony took place on the lawn with the château in full view, framed by soft, pale florals and an understated arch that let the landscape lead. Guests were seated on wooden chairs, each provided with fans for the late-summer warmth, creating a scene that felt considered yet relaxed, with every detail quietly in tune with the setting.

Dining followed al fresco, with long rectangular tables stretching out across the grounds as evening settled in. The château stood illuminated behind them, anchoring the celebration as conversations carried late into the night. As darkness fell, the energy shifted into dancing, music, and a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the sky above the estate.

The following day brought an entirely different rhythm, a lively poolside gathering complete with barbecue, laughter, and unhurried time together in the sun. The estate’s sense of space allowed the celebration to evolve naturally across days, from ceremony to dinner to recovery.
