Get paid to marry abroad – from Lazio with Love!
You read that right, you could in fact get paid €2,000 to experience your destination wedding in the Italian region of Lazio. Featuring the capital city- Rome, the region which borders Tuscany makes the ideal wedding setting with its picturesque Italian countryside and sandy beach coastline.
“Nel Lazio con amore”
The Italian government scheme which translates to ‘From Lazio with Love’ aims to kick start the wedding industry in the region, supporting providers and suppliers affected by the recent pandemic.
The good news is both residents and foreigners alike can claim back €2,000 from up to five expense documents related to their wedding, specifically related to the Lazio region.
Providing your wedding or civil ceremony is due to take place this year, up until 31st December 2022 you can submit your application to receive a piece of the national fund (applications are now open!). You may need to act fast though as the scheme has been caped at ten million euros.

The best time of year to get married in Lazio
